アップルパイやハードサイダーでその風味が珍重されるアーカンソーブラックは、地元では最もユニークなリンゴの一つです。皮が厚く、蝋のようで、黒に近い濃い赤色をしていることから、この名前がつきました。ハードサイダーにすると、ほのかなタンニンとバニラ、シナモン、はちみつの豊かな香りが加わります。糖度と酸度が高く、複雑な風味を持つゴールドラッシュのリンゴは、噛みしめるほどに味わいが広がります。同じように複雑な風味を持つリンゴは、優れたシードルにもなります。 私たちの果樹園で採れるこの2つのリンゴをブレンドすると、本当に素晴らしいサイダーが出来上がります。ノースカロライナ州ヘンダーソン郡のルイス・クリーク・オーチャードで収穫された新鮮なリンゴを搾ったものです。

Prized for its flavor in apple pies and hard cider, the Arkansas Black is one of the most unique local apples. The thick, waxy, dark red, almost black skin gives the apple its name. When crafted into hard cider it adds a hint of tannin and rich notes of vanilla, cinnamon, and honey. The high amounts of sugar and acid as well as a range of complex flavors makes biting into a Gold Rush apple an exquisite experience. The same complex flavor profile makes for an excellent cider. The blend of these two apples from our orchard yields a truly splendid cider. Made from fresh pressed apples picked from Lewis Creek Orchard in Henderson County, NC.
